WE ARE GREEN

Our green statement

We love trees (and ducks). We print small print runs and on demand, using as much recycled paper as we can. 1% of all profits are dedicated to the World Wildlife Federation.

All of Bitingduck’s staff are car-free commuters and encourage efforts to make cities more bicycle- and pedestrian-friendly. We also hated plastic bags before it was trendy.

Here is Jay delivering the materials to the LA Festival of Books on her Bike Friday. One of the advantages of being an e-publisher is that your material is small!

Festival of Books

More news… Bitingduck will help sponsor a 2x women’s fixed-gear team at the Furnace Creek 508 bike race! Jay will be one of the team members, and the second will be LA frame-builder Megan Dean of MothAttack.

Chris and Jay did a mixed-fixed team in 2011 as Team Pair O’Ducks. Here is their race report.
